Coffee giant Starbucks has over 15,000 locations across the U.S., and they offer benefits to part time baristas. You need to clock 240 hours over a three-consecutive-month-period before you’re eligible, which averages to 20 hours per week, and then maintain at least that many hours each quarter to keep your benefits.
It’s safe to say this is one of the best part time jobs with benefits because the benefits are really generous – Starbucks offers health insurance, dental, and vision plans. You can also add life insurance, disability, and accident coverage.
They have a competitive 401(k) with a 100% match on the first 4-6% of eligible pay. Bean Stock is Starbucks’ equity reward program.
They also offer paid time off, partner and family sick leave, parental leave, 100% tuition assistance through Arizona State University’s online program, commuter benefits, adoption assistance, and more.

Part time employees can also take advantage of Costco’s in-house prescription that comes with $5 copays on generic drugs and 5%-15% copays on brand-name medications.

3. Trader Joes
Trader Joe’s has a cult-like following and workforce (who doesn’t love Hawaiian shirts?), and that’s in part because of generous benefits for part time work. Benefits at Trader Joe’s include:

Office supply chain Staples offers benefits to part time workers after 90 days of service, including:

10. Chipotle Mexican Grill
Over the past few years, this fast-casual restaurant chain has been expanding benefits for part time employees. Chipotle most recently added mental healthcare resources for all of its over 80,000 employees, as well as financial counseling services, and discounts at national gyms.
